Each Edge within the CAN Health Network regions represents a health region/authority or a group of health care organizations that function as a co-op style placement site. Mid-to-late stage ventures embed themselves into that Edge for up to a year, working on key market-ready challenges faced by that Edge and other similar organizations across the Network. Successful products are adopted within that Edge and can then be scaled across the rest of the CAN Health Network using innovative procurement models based on market demand. Our Edge model creates an ecosystem of globally competitive companies, boosting GDP and creating quality employment opportunities here in Canada.
